The main mission of IRVT is to build on the long tradition of Czech energy and its good name in the world, especially electricity, energy engineering, research and vocational education, support and concentration of research potential of Czech energy, optimization of vocational education throughout its cycle, by supporting and searching for export opportunities for Czech energy engineering, by elaborating strategic analyzes and projects for maintaining and developing employment in the energy sector and by striving for an overall renaissance of the energy sector and human potential for its development.

An integral part of this effort is the establishment of foreign contacts with potential customers of technological energy units and those interested in the education of highly qualified workers, as well as with research institutes, and support and organization of exchange internships, including the implementation of international projects.

IRVT performs these activities in cooperation with the scientific capacities of CTU in Prague.
